Green Smoothie

Recently I bought this Nutri Bullet that everyone is raving about.   I must say it is worth buying it, as I want to shed some pounds and decided to make this drink which is the recipe provided by Nutri Bullet.  Green Smoothie a.k.a. “The Skinny Blast” is surprisingly a yummy drink which is low in calories.  Another good reason is that I get very lazy to cut fruits for myself, so it is a good way enjoy everything in one without too much hassle.  I have been drinking this for breakfast and it has kept me full for hours.

Ingredients:

  • 2 handful of spinach (i used spinach n kale mix)
  • 1 orange, peeled (used naval orange)
  • 1 carrot, peeled n washed
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/8 cup pumpkin seeds
  • Spring water or almond milk (used water)
  • 2-3 mint leaves to garnish

Directions:

Put all the ingredients in the tall jar and fill it to the max line with almond milk or water.  Run the blender for a good 2-3 minutes, stopping in between.

After everything has been blended, you can add ice and run it a couple of more times.

This can be a meal replacement for one of meals you choose to skip.  Enjoy this healthy drink which gives you a good blend of fruits n veggies.
