Mooli ki Sabzi

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 bunches of Mooli Leaves
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  • 1-2 cubed potatoes
  • ¼ mooli sliced
  • salt to taste
  • ¾ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 inch chopped ginger
  • ½ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1-2 chopped green chilli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Chop the mooli leaves and wash it thoroughly as sometimes they are full of sand. In a kadhai, heat two tablespoons of olive oil. Add cumin seeds and let it splatter. Then add chopped ginger and green chilli to the oil. Cook for a minute or two then add the cubed potatoes. Let it cook for a couple of minutes covered.
  • Now at this time add the chopped and washed mooli leaves along with the salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, and garam masala per your taste. Mix well and cover for a few mins.  Uncover and add the sliced mooli to it and mix.  Cook until the potatoes are done.
  • Serve it hot with dal and chaawal, or it tastes delicious with just plain white rice and pickle.
