Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sooji semolina
  • ¼ cup + 3 tbsp butter
  • 4-5 tbsp of milk
  • ½ cup sugar or little less if you like it less sweet
  • 2-3 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • raisins to garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a pan or kadhai, put and sooji and butter. Roast it on a medium heat, stirring continuously until you get that sweet aroma. You don't want to brown the sooji too much. It will be slightly tinted.
  • Now add the sugar and mix well. Cook for a few minutes to melt the sugar. Add desiccated coconut or any nuts you want to add this time. Add the milk and mix well. Turn the gas off for it to cool down.
  • After it cools down enough to handle, take a portion in your hands and give them a shape of ladoos. Garnish with a raisin on top. Your yummy ladoos are ready.
