Wash the samo seeds well and let it soak for a few mins.
Pour a little water before adding milk in the pot and press Saute button and let it heat for a few mins
Add the rice in it along with sugar and cardamom pods.
Change the Saute mode to Porridge mode and close the instant pot.
Let it cook for 20 mins which is what is auto set when Porridge is used.
Let it naturally release. Add chopped almonds and mix it.
Once it's at room temperature, refrigerate the Phirni for a few hours until it's nicely chilled.
Put it individually in the jar or the what ever serving dish you are using. Garnish with rose petalsbefore serving.
