Paalak is very nourishing and world’s healthiest vegetable. ย It is rich in vitamins, nutrients and has anti-inflammatory , anti cancer benefits from spinach phytonutrients. ย Paalak aloo is a very simple dish that can be prepared in a jiffy.
Ingredients:
- 2 bunches of fresh spinach
- 1 green chilli
- 2 potatoes cubed
- chopped ginger
- 1 tomato diced
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsps of olive oil
Directions:
In a kadhai, add oil and then add the washed, peeled & cubed potatoes. ย Stir for a couple of minutes.
Now add roughly chopped and washed spinach to the potatoes. ย Also at this time, add the ginger, tomato, green chilli and all the spices which is sale, garam masala, turmeric, red chilli powder. Mix well.
Cover the kadhai for a few minutes so that the potatoes can cook properly. ย Uncover and let it stir for another few minutes. ย Serve hot with chapati or paratha along with your favorite pickle.
