Its been a while, I don’t know where is the time flying? ย Need more than 24 hours in a day, I bet that would be less too. ย There is not enough time ever. ย I made these Besan Chillas last week and wanted to post it but didn’t find time to write the post.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups gram flour (besan)
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 1-2 green chillies, chopped
- cilantro chopped
- salt to taste
- pinch of turmeric
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp amchoor powder
- water to make the batter
- olive oil
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add besan and make sure there are not lumps and then add water to it. ย Mix it well making sure it is a smooth batter. ย The batter shouldn’t be too thick or thin. ย A little more water than a pancake batter.
Add chopped onions, green chilies, cilantro, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, amchoor. ย After adding all the ingredients, mix everything together. ย Heat the flat pan, preferably non-stick. ย Add a 3/4 tsp of oil and put a ladle full of batter in the middle of the pan and spread it using the ladle in a circular motion.

Serve it hot with mint chutney or ketchup as per your preference.
