Homemade Mango Puree

As we all know Mango season to coming to an end and what is the best way to enjoy this fruit for the whole year when you are in a mood for Mango.  So I went to NY for about 10 days and I had about 9 mangoes in the fridge which looked wrinkled from the outside when I came back.  First thought was they have gone bad.  Then I decided before I toss them away, I should peel them and see. So I start peeling and they were okay other than 2 mangoes which did go bad.  I was like I should make puree out of this and keep it for future use before they all get bad.

  • 8 mangoes, peeled n cut
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 lemon or lime juice

First peel the mangoes and cut them however you like.

Blend it in the blender along with lime juice and sugar until pureed. Add water if needed.

Now your puree is ready to be used in desserts, drinks or even for a future use if not ready to used it right away.
